This mixed media collage made with recycled material invites the viewer to imagine a world where self-expression and authenticity are celebrated and prioritized over profit. This piece is meant to serve as a check-in for viewers to ponder their own personal ecosystem and ask: Am I living authentically? Do I feel supported and comfortable in my environment? What can I do to change that, if I’m not?

“Peony”

18 x 24

Not For Sale

This piece is of a peony flower photograph Vidaless’ mom took. She saw a photo of hers a little over a year ago and immediately knew she had to get back in the studio to paint it. This is the second piece that she has completed after taking an almost 8 year break from painting. Vidaless’ mom’s love for photography and flowers goes hand and hand with her work and she is so grateful that her mothers art inspired her back into creating her own.

“Laceration”

16” x 24”

$250

“Laceration” is a representation of Mother Nature. Interrupted by the red cloak that covers her, she becomes a wound in the lawn, a violent intimate smear. The red gash in the landscape illustrates the violence committed against her while also showing her grace, boldness, and strength. She sits as the bloodlet of nature’s laceration at our hand.

“Echoes of Necessity”

24” x 30”

Not for Sale

"Echoes of Necessity" is a testament to resourcefulness and resilience, born from the hands of artists who transform what's available into something profound. Crafted entirely from recycled and repurposed materials, this piece embodies the spirit of creation in communities where art supplies are a luxury, not a given. Each salvaged fragment tells a story of ingenuity, reflecting how limitations can ignite boundless creativity and proving that powerful art can emerge from any circumstance. It’s a visual reminder that true artistic expression isn't bought, it's made – with what we have, and with heart.

“dust bowl”

10” x 12”

$95

“dust bowl” is based off of COMPARISON KILLS  own feelings of mourning and guilt, feeling surrounded by these feelings from something that is out of their hands completely. Desperately trying to fight against nature to safety but in the end not being able to overcome something that is bigger than you, your emotions.

“The Last Bag”

30” x 24”

$1,500

This piece honors the 99 Cent Store for the accessibility it provided to lower income families including Donnersbach’s own. The store provided a space for families to obtain affordable goods and everyday necessities. Under the weight of capitalism, which disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable, these essential spaces continue to be pushed out by larger corporations. The poisonous Angel Trumpet Flowers from the Amazon serve as a symbol of the capitalist greed and harm on our communities. The dangerous cycle of replacing accessibility with classist exploitation.

Araullo grew up in a Filipino Household where toxic machismo was heavily implemented into her beliefs. She gifted her father flowers multiple times and he threw it away or bashed her for it because it was not “manly” enough of a gift to give him. However, ironically, her mother implemented the beauty of gifting someone flowers, especially a man, into her beliefs. The world already throws dirt onto their existence expecting them to dismiss the gentleness they preserve to provide for those around them. Why not create a beautiful garden out of the dirt thrown and throw flowers instead?

Labnow’s recent work has largely been exploring some abstract landscape scenery from different perspectives. She combined imagery of flames with a bird's eye view of rivers and a delta, incorporating bright greens to contrast with the darkness that is throughout the work. While she typically works with a lighter and brighter palette, the emotion of the movement of the river and flames, the dying and renewal of the natural elements, had her drawn to a darker scene, and she thinks it worked well with the subject matter. Nature is not always sunlight and sparkling water, but strong energy that commands a respect for the elements. Living and working in California for her entire life has distilled in her a respect for these two elements specifically; both water and wildfires are factors of life here in Los Angeles. She painted this piece very intuitively, going with the flow of instinct in my brushstrokes and color choice, reflective of the natural patterns of both of these elements.

Made with Acrylic paint, napkins, oil pastels, acrylic markers and alcohol markers.

This painting explores the emotional struggle of self-perception. Despite the vibrant colors, the piece captures the feeling of looking at yourself and not recognizing or accepting what you see. It's a visual expression of insecurity, identity, and the quiet battle of self acceptance.
